Your tour starts in the Square of Franz Kafka. I will explain you the history of the Jews in Bohemia and Moravia from the 10th century till today. 

You will learn lots of things like why the Jews were forced to live in the ghettos, wear yellow hat, why they became successful bankers and merchants, why the clock on the townhall works backwards, why Golem was created, why the Jewish names are German and they have a meaning, why the Jews were assimilated before the WW2 and most of them stayed here, what happened to them during the WW2 and communism … and much more!

I recommend to sit in the Café Golem while you will be learning the history and taste their delicious traditional Jewish Rugalach or another cake, it’s part of the experience!

Then you start this fascinating tour. We will visit

Maisel Synagogue - museum of history of the Jews in our country 

Pinkas Synagogue - museum of Holocaust 

Old Jewish Cemetery

Klausen Synagogue – museum of the Jewish traditions 

Spanish Synagogue- Museum of the history of Jews in the 20th century
